Wheel-thrown with carved wing-like handles in a form evoking ancient messenger figures or angelic beings. The body glaze flows with a soft pattern of blue, pearly white, turquoise and sapphire. The rim is tinged with the same antique gold featured on the wings, which shimmer with glassy cobalt eyes.
